How about when you awaken feeling depleted, tired, and worn down? You start you day and every things fine, but even the smallest things are bothering you. You feel guilty. You aren't at your best.
What is the difference?
When you are "balanced" in your self care areas, you can live your life with passion and stamina.
BUT, when your reserves are low, even the smallest challenges seem overwhelming!
I know I've been there!
Between the ages of 18 - 22 I lost both my mom & my dad at a time when I was supposed to be "leaving the nest" ... with there help.
What happened?
Well I was a strong woman and a "good" daughter and I went out and built my own life. I finished my college education, found an apartment, bought a car, fell in love, got married, found a job, bought a house, and started a family. You get the idea ... just like a checklist ... new home ... check!
I volunteered for baseball, church, school committees, neighborhood associations .... everyone that needed help.
I said, "I can do that!"
Until the day I realized I had everything I ever wanted a loving husband, 2 wonderful boys, a beautiful home, but something was missing ... me.
I was so busy building and caring and helping, that I forgot about what I needed!
Actually I had no idea what I needed!!
I'm guessing you know what I'm talking about!
Balance Before Burnout is a 6 week online coaching experience designed to offer you support and inspiration in order to build up your resilience to the stress in your life.
